Packing your club

A few minutes of packing well now saves a damaged club, a dispute, or a refund later.

1

Wrap the clubhead and shaft

Use the bubble wrap included with your box. Cover the whole head first, then wind the rest along the shaft.

2

Place it head-first at the sealed end

Slide the wrapped club in with the head at the end of the box that's already sealed, so the head sits against the sturdiest part.

3

Fill any empty space

Sending a single, shorter club? Roll up any spare bubble wrap into a plug and pack it into the empty end so the club can't slide around in transit.

4

Packing more than one club? Alternate the direction

Turn every other club so its head points the opposite way (head-down, then shaft-down, then head-down again). This lets the heads interlock along the length of the box instead of all competing for space at one end. Wrap every head individually, even when alternating.

5

Give it a shake before sealing

With the lid closed but not yet taped, give the box a gentle shake. If you can hear or feel anything moving, add more bubble wrap before sealing.

6

Reseal with the enclosed tape

Peel the tape from its release paper backing and run it along the seam to reseal the box securely.
